Redefine highly skilled jobs
Deliver high levels of employment AND higher levels of employment.
Many FDI jobs are defined as highly skilled but are potentially jobs built on sand. We must convince multinationals that we can handle more responsibility. Google Dublin is essentially a call centre whereas Google Zurich is its development hub in Europe. If the jobs we already have are highly skilled, then what we need are the intellectual jobs as well.
Retrain EVERYONE in a skillset in line with their capability and motivation.
